Striving to reach growth in many targets on socio-economic development in 2023

According to the Resolution No. 33/NQ-HDND of provincial People's Council on socio-economic development plan for 2023, some targets will be higher than 2022.

Specifically, the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increased by 8.5% - 8.7% compared to 2022. The proportion of industry - construction, services, agriculture - forestry - fishery and product tax minus product subsidies in the local economic structure will be 67.00% - 23.09% - 2.49% - 7.42%, respectively. The province’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) will increase over 8.7%. The province’s GRDP per capita will be about VND177.1 million per year. Export turnover will increase by 9% - 10%. Import value will increase by 9% - 10%. Total State budget revenue will reach more than VND74.61 trillion while total State budget expenditure will be more than VND 23.27 trillion. Total retail sales revenue of goods and services will increase by 15%. FDI  attraction will reach US$1.8 billion. Total investment for social development will increase by 11%. The rate of communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards will be 100%. Additional 8,000 - 10,000 social housing units will be built.

For social targets, the province will create jobs for 35,000 workers. The rate of trained laborers will reach 83%, 33% of whom have certificates. The rate of communes, wards and townships meeting national criteria for commune health will be 100%. The rate of poor households under the province's multidimensional approach poverty line will be below 2%. The rate of population participating in health insurance will reach over 92%. The rate of public schools meeting national standards will reach 83.16%. The number of doctors per ten thousand people will be 7.55 doctors. The number of hospital beds per ten thousand people will be 20.4 hospital beds. The housing area per capita will be 31 square meters per person. The province's urbanization rate will reach 84%. The rate of households in use of electricity will be 99.99%.

For environmental targets, the rate of households provided with clean and hygienic water will reach 99.64%. The rate of rural population in use of hygienic water will be 100%. The rate of daily-life solid waste collected and treated will reach 98.6%. The rate of medical solid waste collected and treated will reach 100%. The coverage rate of forest trees and perennials will reach 57.5%...
