In 1990, at the age of 35, Nguyen Van Long from Tien Giang province came to Lai Uyen commune to begin his business start-up.

Apart from diligence, his most precious character lies in creation. The ambition of creation helps him reach high efficiency of production. In addition, knowledge on mechanics assists him to turn his ideals into reality. All production stages have been mechanized. With the ambition of creation he always joins in all training classes held by local units. In terms of farming and breeding, he often buys new breeding trees for pilot cultivation.

With tens of hectares of rubber trees, rubber trees often shed their leaves in near Tet holiday and thick layers of rubber leaves can catch fire anytime. Therefore, he in 1995 he invented a leaf blowing machine, helping to save tens of labor. In 1997, he kept creating a fertilizer spreading machine for his rubber plantation. 3 years later, he continued inventing a pesticide spraying machine made from a motorbike washing machine. And, the machine won the second prize at the 2011 Binh Duong provincial tech-creation contest.

He said that since every one has known about his pesticide spraying machine, he daily receives tens of calls from every one to learn about the machine.

He said that he would offer experience and knowledge to help every one without business because invention and improvement of tools are his big joy and gift.

Aside from good production, he is a positive member in local activities with the role of member of Ben Cat district Fatherland Front Committee, member of the communal Farmers’ Society executive board, chairman of Lai Uyen high school’s study promotion society. annually, he grants tens of millions of VND to the study promotion.
