Supporting youths in business start-up

In response to the “National business start-up ” campaign, provincial Youth Union and Youth Federation have set major tasks and basic targets in order to effectively carry out a project on supporting youths in business start-up  for the period of 2017-2022; organize support programs on business start-up among youths…

In early 2017, provincial Youth Union organized a program on “Binh Duong’s youths with  business start-up in the current socio-economic context”. The program aimed to provide Youth Union cadres with necessary knowledge on business start-up  disseminated a concept on  business start-up and contributions by small and medium-sized businesses to the local socio-economic development.

From the above orientation, provincial Support Center for Young Workers set up a model on “youth business start-up  eatery” in April with a total cost of more than VND200million under the support of Nhan Nghia Health Services-
Trade Joint Stock Company together with some donors. The eatery is located in Ben Cat town’s My Phuoc ward and managed by a group of youths with diversification of food and drink.

Youth Union branches of districts, towns and TDM city also organized training courses on business start-up.  Tan Uyen town’s Youth Federation and Di An town’s Youth Union held talk shows on business start-up  with the participation of successful young entrepreneurs.

Whilst, provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union branch organized classes on sci-tech transfer for rural youths; visited effective urban agricultural models with the participation of numerous Youth Union members…

Provincial Youth Union is expected to hold a program on making sci-tech transfer and supporting youths in business start-up in September ahead. Accordingly, the program will absorb nearly 300 Youth Union members from 22 units. They will have a chance to study experience from effective hi-tech production models in Ben Cat town; Dat Thu orchid cooperative and a model on raising red discus fish with hi-economic efficiency in TDM city.

Nguyen Tan Dat, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that provincial Project on “supporting youths in business start-up  for the period of 2017-2022 aims to help the local youths establish their position in life and themselves up in business, contributing to improving their spiritual & material lives. Supporting youths in business start-up also contributes to upholding their voluntary role in economic development, creating hi-quality products, promoting the local goods production, thereby contributing to helping the locality well realize the Party and State’s policies on agriculture and rural development.
