Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee speakings at the meeting
According to provincial Department of Health, the development Covid-19 pandemic is very complicated in Vietnam, with a new strain, high infection rate, and rapid spread in the community. In Binh Duong, during this pandemic, the local health sector monitored and detected 144 high-risk cases, related to outbreaks throughout the country. The province also recorded one more case of Covid-19 infection in the isolation area. This is a Vietnamese citizen returning from abroad, tested negative twice, and found positive for the third time. The number of illegal entry cases in the province is 46 cases. However, Binh Duong now has a large number of immigrants, so the risk of Covid-19 outbreak is always implicit.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ha suggested sectors and localities to step up inspection, supervision the operations of establishments in industrial parks that do not strictly implement Covid-19 prevention and control. Localities need to continue fining those who do not comply with the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health, especially not wearing masks in public places. They also asked for functional agencies to withdraw business licenses for non-essential services that still operate stealthily, strictly handle individuals and organizations that violate regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control and they may be prosecuted in case of causing the spread of the pandemic in the community.
He also suggested Binh Duong Newspaper and Binh Duong Radio and Television Station to promote propaganda about localities taking action to fine cases that do not strictly comply with the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health, contributing to raising the spirit of Covid-19 prevention and control, ensuring the local sustainable development.
