Tan Uyen absorbs over US$3.38billion in FDI capital

Since early this year, Tan Uyen town’s total production value of the domestic investment sector has reached more than VND4.04trillion, up 10.79% compared to the same period last year. The figure of the foreign investment sector was more than VND9.35trillion, up 12.45% against the same period last year.

The town has also absorbed 154 domestic projects with a total registered capital of more than VND638billion, bringing the total number of domestic businesses herein to 874 with a total registered capital of more than VND 9.19billion. For foreign investment, the town has lured 25 FDI projects capitalized at more than US$191million. So far, the town has had a total of 490 FDI projects with a total registered capital of more than US$3.38billion.

Currently, the town is home to 2 industrial parks and 3 industrial compounds with around 1,900 hectares in total. The rate of land tenancy at town-based industrial parks and compounds has till now reached 64.9% with 112 domestic businesses and 250 FDI ones in operation.
