Tan Uyen Town celebrate the 63rd anniversary of Vietnamese Doctor's Day

People's Committee of Tan Uyen Town held a get-together to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of Vietnamese Doctor Day (27 Feb 1955 - 27 Feb 2018).

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the delegates reviewed the health sector’s tradition and achievements in people's healthcare. During the process of building and development, the health sector has overcome all difficulties, challenges, fulfilled assigned tasks. The medical examination and treatment for people in 2017 reached 111.7% of the year target, the capacity utilization of hospital beds reached 112%. Disease prevention was focused, the network of preventive medicine was strengthened regularly, social organizations mobilized people to participate in disease prevention movements, environmental protection, epidemiological surveillance, thus regularly detected and handled epidemic diseases in a timely manner. Material facilities of the health sector were invested and developed. Medical staff had deep professional passion, worked with high responsible spirit, constantly learned and actively did scientific research to improve their professional level, forge virtues, practice skills to serve people’s health.

On this occasion, People's Committee of Tan Uyen Town awarded certificates of merit to 9 collectives, 9 individuals, presented the title of "grassroot-level Emulation Soldier" to 1 individual, the title "Advanced Laborer" to 1 collective and 73 individuals.
