In response to the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day (April 7), TDM city’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation in collaboration with HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Blood Transfusion and Hematology Center held the first voluntary blood donation program of 2019.
The program absorbed 350 Red Cross officials, members and volunteers, armed forces and locals with 289 units of blood given. This was a noble deed of the community, bringing health, vitality and hope to patients while contributing to improving the lack of blood at health facilities…
It is known that since early this year, the city’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation has organized 4 such programs and collected 637 units of blood.
