TDM City to summarize Project “Popularizing, cultivating Vietnamese woman’s virtues in accelerated industrialization and modernization period of the country" 

On September 3^rd, TDM City Steering Committee of Project 343 and 704 held a meeting to summarize 5 implementation years of Project “Popularizing, cultivating Vietnamese woman’s virtues in accelerated industrialization and modernization period of the country" and Project “Educating 5 million mothers on bringing up well children” in the 2011-2015.

To improve the effectiveness of the two projects’ implementation, TDM City Women’s Union (WU) in collaboration with units, localities enhanced propaganda activities through various forms, such as: training, seminars, forums, contests... WU and affiliates operated well 14 happy family clubs with 490 members; 28 clubs of 704 Project with 980 members. In addition, TDM City WU organized seminars, forums of “women’s role in family and society" in order to promote the role of women, enhancing awareness of gender education, promoting good values ​​and relationships in family and support the development of happy family, implementing the national strategy on gender equality in the 2011-2015 period.

On this occasion, TDM City People’s Committee commended 10 collectives and 12 individuals for outstanding achievements in implementing the two projects.
