The average Tet bonus for employees is more than 6 million VND/person

On December 21, Binh Duong provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs informed that it received reports from 1,125 businesses in the province about the 2023 Lunar New Year bonus for employees.

 Binh Duong is always interested in and carry out many activities to take care of workers’ lives, especially during Tet holidays.

Out of 1,125 enterprises reported, 1,115 enterprises have plans for Tet bonus, 7 enterprises do not have Tet bonuses, 3 enterprises have not had plans yet. Namely, the highest New Year bonus is VND 38 million at FDI enterprises; The highest Lunar New Year bonus is VND 896 million, belonging to An Cuong Wood Joint Stock Company (Tan Uyen Town).

According to Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the average Tet bonus of enterprises this year is 6.13 million VND/person. The provincial Labor Confederation also informed that there are more than provincial 4,000 businesses having trade unions. This year, despite common difficulties in production, most businesses strive to have Tet bonuses for employees. This year, it was proposed that about 46,000 disadvantaged workers receive support level of 1 million VND/person (higher than the support level in 2022 was 500,000 VND/person).
