An effective bridge

As Vice Chairwoman of Kocham Binh Duong, over the years, Ms. Lim has also done well as a liaison, who develops the relationship between Korean enterprises in the province with provincial all governmental levels and branches. This is the motivation for Korean enterprises to successfully carry out production and business activities. Currently, South Korea is one of the top 65 countries and territories with investment projects in Binh Duong, with a total investment of nearly $3 billion.

After the Vietnam-Korea Free Trade Agreement came into force in 2015, Ms. Lim introduced Binh Duong to many Korean investors. She said: "I had a chance to learn and better understand investment incentive policies of Vietnam as well as Binh Duong to introduce to Korean enterprises. More and more Korean enterprises also come to Binh Duong to make investment. My biggest joy is that most Korean enterprises investing in the province have been successful, there are enterprises that expanded their production scale 2-4 times bigger". Ms. Lim hopes that in the coming time, more Korean enterprises would come to the province to invest and connect with domestic enterprises to supply products, form a high value-added chain to grow together.

Ms. Lim said: "Having been in Binh Duong province for many years, witnessing the change and development of the province every day, I am very happy to see this land become the most developing industrial region in Vietnam. To achieve the above results, the province developed appropriate socio-economic development plans. Policies about attracting and improving the investment environment of the province are very timely to catch good FDI capital inflows. In the coming time, I hope that Binh Duong would continue to be simplify, shorten the time to implement administrative procedures, promptly solve problems for enterprises, then FDI investment in the province would increase. I myself will always stay side by side with Kocham Binh Duong to do better its role and mission in order to support the Korean business community in the area and contribute to the socio-economic growth of Binh Duong"
