Reporting to the inspection team of the province, the representative of the construction unit in charge of the route passing through Bac Tan Uyen district, said that so far, the provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has handed over 40.5 out of 41.9 hectares or 96.66% of the total site clearance area. By the beginning of April 2022, the total construction progress of the 9.32km long section through Bac Tan Uyen district from the headquarters of the People's Committee of Tan Thanh town to the end of Tan Lap bridge has been completed over 62%. A representative of the construction unit said that if the site is handed over soon, so the unit will focus on speeding up the progress and strive to complete in September 2022.
Meanwhile, the section passing through Phu Giao district is the longest with more than 17km from Tam Lap junction to Bau Bang district; so far the total construction volume has reached about 15%. Currently, the units continue to construct the allocated sections such as optical bulldozing, organic dredging, road embankment excavation, and installation of culverts along both sides for construction of bored piles of Song Be bridge. Currently, the compensation and site clearance on the section from Tam Lap to Bau Bang junction still face some drawbacks as some households have not received compensation fees. Besides, the section from KM 2+ 500 to KM 4+ 200 located in Phuoc Vinh town has not yet cleared of rubber trees in pending for the opinion of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group. In addition, a section is still entangled with a 110KV power pole that has not been relocated. The People's Committee of Phu Giao district proposed the provincial People's Committee to consider and decide to solve the problem of compensation and resettlement costs for households at the intersections, which is one of the problems in the compensation and site clearance process of the project.
Not to prolong to 2024
Reporting to the inspection team of the province, Mr. Vo Thanh Giau, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bau Bang district, said that the construction of the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang road through the district with a length of over 8.6 km was started from the date of construction. From October 5, 2021, the construction has been completed for nearly 190 days so far. Total actual construction volume is about 20%. It is expected that by June 30, the construction will gain over 33%. The representative of the construction unit - Dai Phong Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company, said that regarding the construction process, the contractor has been interested by local leaders and departments and sectors to facilitate site clearance and handing over cleared land. However, at present, obstacles in the clearance of some sections at the locations of the Southeast silvicultural research center, Vietnam Antiseptic Joint Stock Company and medium voltage and domestic electricity poles remain. The contractor proposed to the investor and related parties to completely solve the problem in order to soon hand over the site to the construction unit.

In which, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the construction unit regardign the passing section of Bac Tan Uyen district. He asked the construction unit to keep on with the spirit of urgency to work until the end.
For the proposal of the construction unit facing difficulties in materials, especially soil and rock leveling, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with relevant localities and units to calculate solutions for timely decision not only for the project but also for the projects of Vanh Dai 3, Vanh Dai 4, Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Highway, etc.
The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee asked localities to focus on removing difficulties and obstacles to speed up the work of compensation and site clearance for handing over to the construction unit. In addition, contractors need to mobilize maximum construction forces and means as quickly as possible, but they must ensure the quality of the work. The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee disagreed with the contractor's proposal on the time to complete some sections of the project until 2024, and said that the province would offer all favorable conditions including the budget and require the construction unit must at all costs complete the entire route in 2023 and put it into use.
