Outstanding results in economic development of Thu Dau Mot City in the first 9 months of 2024 are total retail sales of goods estimated at 23,149 billion VND, up 28.05%; industrial production value estimated at over 57,165 billion VND, up 27.54% over the same period in 2023.

According to Ms. Phan Thi Hoang Dieu, Director of Phan Hoang Gia Wood Company Limited, wood production and processing enterprises are seeking new directions and proposing solutions for stable and sustainable development amid rising transportation costs, raw material prices, input material costs, and labor expenses. The city continues to implement urban development investment programs, creating a favorable environment to attract investment in production and business.

In the final months of 2024, Thu Dau Mot City will focus on enhancing investment attraction. The city will consistently implement coordinated solutions to ensure construction progress and timely disbursement of budget capital allocated for projects in 2024. Additionally, a plan will be developed and executed to organize the business operations at Thu Dau Mot Market. The city remains committed to promoting the effectiveness of the OCOP Program.
