Thu Dau Mot City kicks off Workers' Month 2022

Standing Committee of Thu Dau Mot City Youth Union in collaboration with the City Labor Confederation has held a launching ceremony of Vietnam Workers' Month and Youth Workers' Week 2022.

Accordingly, Standing Committees of the City's Youth Union and Labor Confederation presented 50 gifts to support young workers having difficult circumstances. On this occasion, the City Labor Confederation praised three grassroots trade unions.   

During the Workers' Month and Youth Workers' Week, the city will have many activities with specific targets, such as: reviewing and establishing at least one new branch in non-State-owned enterprises; establishing a model youth lodging house and mobilizing for and offering a dream room; to award at least 50 support slots to disadvantaged young workers, young people and children of disadvantaged young workers; to present a compassionate home to disadvantaged youths funded by socialization sources; to organize at least two programs of Workers' Youth Festival; launched two projects "Green neighborhood - Clean lodging houses"...

On this occasion, Thu Dau Mot City Youth Union organized a skills camp to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and the National Reunification (April 30^th 1975 - April 30^th 2022); welcome the 10th anniversary of Thu Dau Mot City (May 2^nd 2012 - May 2^nd 2022); celebrate the successful Thu Dau Mot City Youth Union’s Congress 2022-2027.   

The camp had the theme "Youth Life - The Desire to Contribute". Young participants of the camp took part in activities, such as: Camping, teambuilding games, campfires... The camp was an opportunity for youth union members to recall the tradition and history, enjoy a useful and healthy playground, create a joyful, exciting and united atmosphere in youth movements.
