Thuan An town’s Farmers’ Association has just held a get-together to mark the 82nd anniversary of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association (Oct.14, 1930-Oct.14, 2012).

In the first nine months of 2012, Thuan An town’s Farmers’ Association admitted additional 61 members, bringing the total number of members so far to 4,145. The local Farmers’ Association and its affiliates also promoted the “Good farmers in production and business” emulation movement among members; helped 32 members get a total loan of nearly VND500mln…

On this occasion, the local Farmers’ Association also awarded 21 mementoes to cadres and members who made contributions to the Vietnamese farming class.

*Early Oct.12, Minh Hoa communal Farmers’ Association held a conference to review 2012’s activities and a get-together to mark the 82nd founding anniversary of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association.

In 2012, the local Farmers’ Association has admitted additional 66 members or 100% of the projection; promoted the movement of “Farmers helping each other in hunger eradication, poverty reduction and economic development” by many forms with a total value of more than VND240mln; disbursed over VND1.1bln in loan for 85 farmers households…There have also been 724 farmer households winning the titles of “good farmers” at all levels.
