Thuan An’s industrial production value estimated at over VND 240.2 trillion

According to Thuan An city’s People's Committee, in 2021, although Covid-19 pandemic is very complicated, the city People's Committee has had timely, drastic and practical instructions to control the pandemic and facilitated the local maintenance and recovery of production and business. As a result, the local economy has continued growing.

Accordingly, the town’s industrial production value was estimated at more than VND 240.2 billion, an increase of 2.38% over the same period, or 96.58% of the Resolution of the local People's Council. Of these, domestic enterprises reached VND 72.38 trillion, up 0.25% over the same period, or 30.1% of total while foreign-invested enterprises gained VND 167.9 trillion, up 3.32% over the same period, or 69.9% of total. The output of electricity consumed in the town was 2.683 billion Kwh (down 6.6% over the same period), ensuring electricity supply for the local production, business and people's daily life. The city established a working group to support and remove difficulties for individuals, organizations and enterprises outside industrial compounds and parks to recover production-business activities and maintain growth.
