Timely support to create trust among enterprises

Late May 21 at Binh Duong New City a government working team led by Deputy PM Vo Van Ninh met Mr. Mai The Trung, Member of Central Committee of CPV and Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, and leaders of sectors and departments of the province in a meeting with Association of Businesses of South Korea, Japan, and investors in industrial parks in a bid to support enterprises in their recovery after the recent incidents.Enterprises uphold the faithReporting to the working team and enterprises, Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee informed that the local security has been maintained and 95% of factory workers have returned to work. Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh stresses on various measures to support the enterprises. As for the hostile elements, the province shall impose model penalties with the best efforts to return the stolen properties to the affected enterprises.Currently, functional agencies of Binh Duong Province have concentrated on resolving obstacles of the employees while maintaining forces to ensure utmost safety of enterprises returning to normal operations.Through the working session, Mr. Le Thanh Cung was hopeful that the business association should invite affected enterprises to return to normal operations with support of local authorities.At the working session, association of goods and enterprise associations of nations and investors to industrial parks believed that the latest situations were beyond everyone wishes and that they have maintained greatest trust in the provincial and central government.Associations of Businesses of South Korea and Japan informed that enterprises had returned to operations after recovery from damages.Mr. Le Jong Hoe, Chair of South Korean Association of Trade and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City said that the recovery of security has enabled enterprises to be protected in terms of benefits and properties in the last incident. Thus, Binh Duong Province should eye recovery of trust among investors.Mr. Han Vay Chi, Chair of Viet Huong Industrial Park where 80% of enterprises are Taiwan originated. Currently 95% of such enterprises have been back to work, he informed.He asserted that enterprises in Viet Huong Industrial Park highly appreciated investment environment and policies of the province; thus, they are very sympathy for the serious incident and wish to continue investing and long-term business in the province.Timely support for enterprisesAt the working session, Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Chair of Provincial People’s Committee notified enterprises of Notification No. 207/TB-VPCP dated May 20 regarding conclusion of PM Nguyen Tan Dung calling for help and support for enterprises to recover from damages at the soonest.The associations welcomed the notification for timely support so that the enterprises could recover at the soonest. Meantime, the considered the notification as the integral policy of the government in helping enterprises and bringing up best investment environment.Addressing the working session, Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh said that the government has directed the simplification of administrative procedures for enterprises to recover their productions and businesses as their documents have been lost, burnt, and/or stolen in the incidents.The Deputy PM confirmed that the government has demanded localities, ministries, and related sectors to share with and support the enterprises in various forms including simpler insurance procedures to support affected enterprises.The government has just approved a group of measures regarding land taxes and renting to help enterprises to reduce, defer, and grace from taxes levied on their damages while tax returns should be considered for damaged products.As for credit group, banks shall review each loan, credit line, and interest so that enterprises shall access larger amount of credit.He informed that the government shall continue monitoring to give out timely direction so that business operations and investment environment shall be recovered at the soonest.T.
