Thereby, youth unions and associations are able to keep in touch with young workers, create a friendly environment and take care of young workers in a practical way...

The program “Loving bus” brings many gifts and joys to poor young workers in Binh Chuan ward, Thuan An City.

To develop and maintain many activities

Environmental protection and propaganda activities at lodging houses in the province have been strengthened in many localities. At Quang Vinh lodging house in Hoa Phu ward (Thu Dau Mot City), Youth Union of the ward implemented a practice of "Green - clean - beautiful and civilized lodging house". Youth union members of the ward planted trees, created green areas for lodging houses, and encouraged people to join hands for green - clean - beautiful lodging houses, build a civilized cultural lifestyle. The ward implements the model with the desire to raise the awareness of workers in lodging houses about building a fresh environment, helping a better quality of life.

In order for good practices to be implemented more in many lodging houses, Youth Union branches have joined hands together to bring the most efficiency. Phu Tho ward Youth Union (Thu Dau Mot City) cooperated with the PC07 Grassroots Youth Union (Provincial Police), the City Young Doctors Club, Youth Union of the City Medical Center, and Thanh Toan Seafood Economic Cooperation Group to carry out "Citizen of 5 exemplary characters" and a young flower garden for young workers’ association of Co Tinh lodging house.

These youth units also gave 15 gifts to young workers having difficult circumstances, presented notebooks to children staying in the lodging house; communicate and show workers skills and handbooks on fire prevention and fighting for lodging houses in the ward. The construction of a clean and beautiful living environment at lodging houses is necessary for migrant workers, contributing to creating good spirit and health for workers.

The goal of strengthening propagation and education at lodging houses has been performed by localities to improve understanding and awareness for workers. Young worker uniting, gathering project’s organizing committee of Hiep An ward (Thu Dau Mot City) coordinated with Binh Duong Trade Union’s Legal Consultancy Center to organize activities and disseminate the law among workers at Nguyen Chanh Tam lodging house. To meet the demand of workers for necessary information, officials of Binh Duong Trade Union Legal Advisory Center informed basic contents of the Labor Code, issues related to salary, social insurance, maternity, labor contract, rights and obligations of employees and employers...

In addition, Young worker uniting, gathering project’s organizing committee of Hiep An ward also listened to thoughts and aspirations, answered questions of young workers and gave six gifts to poor young workers, each worth VND 300,000. Through the propagation sessions, the committee could raise young workers’ legal awareness, promptly grasp the situation and orient public opinion.

Nguyen Chanh Tam, a lodging house’s owner said: "The organization of direct propagation at lodging houses will improve the effectiveness of law dissemination among workers. This is not only propagation but also a gathering for workers of lodging houses to connect with the community..."

Buses of sharing difficulties

A loving bus to support young workers organized by Provincial Youth Union came and carried many small gifts to Young workers’ association of Doan Ket lodging house in Binh Quoi A, Binh Chuan ward (Thuan An City). It was the first destination of this program to learn about workers’ lives and share difficulties with young workers. The bus arrived, youth union officials visited workers and children at this lodging house and presented 50 gifts, each worth VND 500,000.

It is known that the program "Loving bus supports young workers" included four trips to young workers’ associations in lodging houses of districts, towns and cities in the province. Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union awarded 200 gifts to encourage and share difficulties with workers.

During this May, this loving bus coming to lodging houses and companies has been implemented synchronously by Youth Union at all levels. With a unanimous spirit sharing difficulties with workers, Youth Union and Youth Federation of North Tan Uyen district organized two programs of loving bus to lodging houses and companies to give 40 gifts to workers in Thuong Tan and Tan My communes.

In Di An City, these buses, from the city level to the ward level, were also carried out. The city Youth Union and Youth Federation organized the "Love Sharing Bus" program to visit and encourage young workers at lodging houses in the area and gave 50 gifts of necessities to disadvantaged young workers. Besides, youth organizations at ward level in Di An City also actively organized the program "Love Sharing Bus". For example, Youth Union of Di An ward presented 20 gifts with a total value of VND 10 million to children and poor workers staying in lodging houses.
