To develop riverside orchard with eco-tourism

Update: 08-12-2015 | 11:25:29

According to Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, total orchard area of Binh Duong Province has occupied over 4,500 hectares. Regions for oranges and mandarin across communes of Hieu Liem, Lac An, and Tan Dinh of Bac Tan Uyen District are advantageous thanks to the soil near Dong Nai River suitable for citrus orchards. Besides, local farmers are applying treatment of off-seasonal fruits to gain high interest.

Aside from citrus regions along Dong Nai River, the department has concentrated on developing and maintaining orchards along Saigon River mainly at communes of large orchard areas such as Thanh Tuyen of Dau Tieng District and An Son of Thuan An Town. Accordingly, the targets of developing orchard delicacies along the rivers and eco-tourism are well established.
