On Jan 12, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to review works in 2021, deploy orientations and tasks in 2022. The conference had the participation of Nguyen Kieu Linh, Deputy Chief of Office of Ministry, Head of Representative Office of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Council.

With the determination and efforts of the whole sector, in the past year, the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector effectively implemented the "dual goal" of both preventing the Covid-19 pandemic and fulfilling socio-economic development task.

Nguyen Khoa Hai, Director of Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that in 2022, the whole sector must further promote the role of the key force in the cause of "Reviving Vietnamese culture in a new era" following the spirit of a recent national cultural conference.

On this occasion, Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism received a Third-class Labor Medal for outstanding achievements in the implementation of movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in 2000-2020 period, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded excellent emulation flag 2021 to Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Department of Culture and Information of Thuan An city, awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 2 individuals attaining excellent results in construction and organization of cultural, sports and tourism activities in 2021.
