To get on dissolving treatment areas and field hospitals

Due to the deep reduction of the COVID-19 epidemic situation, the provincial health sector is urgently reviewing, arranging and dissolving treatment facilities that no longer have COVID-19 patients in the areas of districts, towns and cities. The local Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control í advised to manage, allocate assets, and return the status quo to the units. After dissolution, the Medical Centers proactively arrange beds, equipment and facilities to ensure the care and treatment of COVID-19 patients at the Health Center or in a separate treatment area. Binh Duong Province General Hospital directs expertise and supports medical facilities to care of and treat COVID-19 patients while supporting Thu Dau Mot city Medical Center to receive COVID-19 patients in the city when it is indicated that patients are hospitalized for care and treatment.

According to statistics, during the peak of the COVID-19 epidemic, the whole province established 33 facilities to treat COVID-19 patients and 173 concentrated quarantine areas that could provide treatment for about 80,000 to 100,000 patients according to the latest guidelines of the triad model.
