To mobilize many resources to help poor people go to "0VND market"

On May 25, Fatherland Committee of Dau Tieng town (Dau Tieng district) in collaboration with the Town Red Cross organized a "0VND market" in response to Humanitarian Month 2022 with the theme "Community cohesion - Spreading acts of kindness".

The market consisted of 25 booths and many essential food products, such as rice, instant noodles, dipping sauce, cooking oil, chicken eggs, spices, vegetables, fruits, biscuits, milk... The 50 households supported this time to go to the "0VND Market" are poor households, disadvantaged households in Dau Tieng town. Each support was worth VND500,000. The funding for this "0VND Market" session was mobilized and called by Fatherland Committee and Red Cross from various sources and contributed by charitable groups and benefactors. The given gifts will contribute to help poor and disadvantaged households overcome difficulties and rise up to alleviate poverty.

Local leaders said that in addition to the regimes and policies enjoyed by the beneficiaries, the town will continue to call for and mobilize more resources from businesses, organizations and benefactors to work together with localities to better take care of the lives of poor households; at the same time, create all conditions by doing practical things for poor families to improve their material and spiritual life, contributing to reducing poverty in the locality.
