To promote construction of Vietnam-Industrial Park III

Early June 11, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of CPV Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Head of NA Delegation of Binh Duong province was with the working delegation  doing examination and survey of the construction progress of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III).

Reporting to the working session, Mr. Vo Hoang Ngan, Director of Binh Duong provincial Department of Construction informed that on June 9, 2022, Binh Duong provincial People's Council approved the tasks and 1/5,000 Planning Project for VSIP III. The approval was the basis for functional agencies to establish 1/2,000 sectional planning before implementing steps to present to the provincial People's Council for agreements and People's Committee for approval. The greatest drawback is that the liquidation of rubber trees within the project site for site delivery to the investor.

An unnamed representative of Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC informed that the company is working with Vietnam Rubber Group for the decision on liquidation of rubber trees to deliver the site. Leaders of departments, sectors, Tan Uyen town and Bac Tan Uyen district asserted that the project implementation for the time to come would greatly depend on site delivery of Phuoc Hoa JSC.

After listening to the units reporting on the project progress as well as on drawbacks and obstacles of VSIP III construction, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi demanded the provincial People’s Committee and related departments and sectors to drastically plan for 1/2,000 scale with close coordination with Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC to rapidly liquidate rubber trees and deliver the site to the investor so as to ensure legal regulations on land and related charters.

Affirming the importance of VSIP III construction, the local Secretary stressed that the construction is the third vital of Binh Duong and the eleventh of the nation. With vision of a smart and sustainable industrial park, VSIP III has been designed with smart tech integrated into industrial park operations under the use of energy, water, waste treatment, and smart and safe traffic management. VSIP III is promisingly the regional model of feasibility of technology and renovation application to develop a green adn sustainable industrial park.
