Total retail sales of goods and services of 9 months to gain VND83,369 billion 

According to provincial Department of Trade and Industry, during the first 9 months of 2015, total retail sales of goods and services is estimated at VND83,369 billion, increasing 23.5% over the same period, achieving 68.7% year-target. In particular, domestic economic sector gained VND80,444 billion, increasing 23.2%; FDI sector gained VND2,925 billion, increasing 33.6%.

In September, total retail sales of goods and services is estimated at VND10,058 billion, increasing 0.6% over the previous month. Domestic economic sector produced VND9,757 billion, increasing 0.6%; FDI sector produced VND300.4 billion, increasing 0.5%.

In general, domestic commercial activities during the first 9 months were stable, goods serving people’s needs were abundant, diverse in terms of designs and types; Vietnamese goods dominated the common market. Prices were basically stabilized; sales promotion of essential commodities was enhanced. Particularly, textbooks, notebooks, school supplies under the market stabilization program were brought to agencies, schools to serve the shopping needs of parents, pupils on occasion of new school year.
