Traditional Medicine Bureau’s inspection delegation works with Thuan An town leaders

The Health Ministry’s Traditional Medicine Bureau’s inspection delegation led by the bureau vice head Nguyen Ngoc Tuan paid a working session with Thuan An town leaders and relevant agencies and mass bodies on development of traditional medicine in the locality.

 

Reportedly, the local traditional medicine sector has been gradually reinforced and developed. At present, the town’s all medical stations have had cadres relating to oriental medicine work and traditional medicine wards and the societies of traditional medicine across communes and wards. In terms of human resources, the locality has 29 oriental medicine cadres and 111 members of the town oriental medicine society.

 

However, human resources for the local traditional medicine sector has yet to meet requirements for improving the quality of treatment.

 

At the working session, the local leaders referred to difficulties of traditional medicine development, especially shortage of incentives for the sector…

 

Speaking at the working session, Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, vice head of the Traditional Medicine Bureau pledged to set out proper measures for the local traditional medicine sector.
