Part 1: Helping enterprises resume production

 

To help enterprises overcome difficulties, the provincial leaders and functional agencies pay encouragement visits and set out concrete assistance policies for businesses.

Ensuring jobs for laborers

 

Taking the provincial leadership delegation led by the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Tran Thanh Liem to visit enterprises, Mr.Tong Wu Ten, chairman cum general director of Song Tian Home Decoration and Bike Component Company said that the provincial leaders paid encouragement visits and pledged to ensure order and security for companies. Working with Song Tian Home Decoration and Bike Component Company’s directorate, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Tran Thanh Liem applauded the company’s efforts and simultaneously added that support work for companies would be implemented rapidly by the provincial functional agencies, so enterprises should contact the provincial Industrial Parks’ management board for more information.

 

Yang Chi Chung, general director of YangCheng Apparel Company shared “More than 17 years of living and working at Vietnam, I consider Binh Duong as my second homeland. When I was in Taiwan, I witnessed some people to talk about extremist acts happened at some enterprises. However, I believe in my company’s laborers. We feel secure in mind after the provincial leaders’ encouragement visits”.

 

Production stabilized

 

Talking to the provincial leadership delegation, Thong Dung Footwear Company’s trade union chairman Hoang Ngoc Hinh added that our company is like a common home for laborers, so the company leaders do not make workers laid-off in long time. The company now resumes production. “Lodging house’s proprietors are very kind. After finding out lodgers or workers taking companies’ assets such as computers, fridges, machines, they mobilized workers to give back companies”, Hinh said.

 

Taking the delegation to BowKer sport fashion products factory, general director Chom Chi Waii said that nearly 100% of laborers resume their work at the factory.

 

One of enterprises suffering the heavy losses after the past May extremist acts was ChuTex Apparel Company. The company also resumes production after nearly one week of operational suspension. Mr. William Chu, the company general director said “We do not want to lose client’s trust and our clients understand our difficulties. The provincial leaders’ encouragement and commitment are impetuses helping us overcome the temporary obstacles”.

 

Kyu Hwa Lee, general director of Han Sung Vietnam Company said that as entrepreneurs, we always desire a stable investment environment. The provincial leaders’ encouragement visits to enterprises plus commitment of order and security help us feel secure in mind. I will inform my colleagues and partners about the provincial leaders’ visits to help them continue to believe in the provincial administration.

 

Meanwhile, Tong Wu Ten, president of Song Tian Company said that Vietnamese workers are very excellent, clever and laborious. We and Vietnamese workers are like family relatives. We do not want them to be unemployed, so we have to try our best to resume production as soon as possible.
