Upholding young strength in all aspects

The provincial summer youth volunteer campaign 2017 will be organized by provincial Youth Union with focus on significant programs for each youth group, upholding the ability of Youth Union members in association with duties at their units.

This year’s summer youth volunteer campaign will focus on 5 programs, namely “giving strength to examination season”, “Green summer”, “Green operation”, “Red Flamboyant” and  “Pink vacation”.

Under the program of “Alliance of three shirt colors”, the Youth Union of Army Corps No.4 provides free medical check-ups for locals

Particularly, the “giving strength to examination season” program will take place from June 20 to 25 with significant activities, including offering consultation and support to national high school graduation examinees and their families…

The “Green Summer” campaign will be also held with activities on building new-style rural and civilized urban areas. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that during the campaign, the local youths will bend on activities towards national sea and islands, especially in Binh Thuan province’s Phu Quy island district. They will also take part in international volunteer activities in Laos and Cambodia.

For the “Red Flamboyand” campaign, a series of “paying debt of gratitude” and social welfare activities will be deployed by provincial Youth Unions at all levels. Pham Quang Tri, Vice-Secretary of Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union said that during the “Red Flamboyand” campaign, the town’s Youth Union will attach special importance to such activities as taking care of policy beneficiary families, lonely elderly people; presenting gifts to pupils and children with difficult circumstances; supporting summer activities for children…The local youths will also upgrade and clean up martyrs’ cemeteries, historical-cultural relics…

The program that will be implemented among young workers is the “Pink vacation” campaign. According to Nguyen Hoai An, Secretary of provincial Support Center for Young Workers’ Youth Union, the campaign will be organized in “connecting youths” clubs with such practical activities as environmental protection, voluntary blood donation…

Whilst, the “Green operation” campaign will be launched in Phu Giao district’s An Binh commune with the “Alliance of three shirt colors” program. Accordingly, Youth Union members under the local armed forces will jointly upgrade a rural road of 500 meters; provide free medical check-ups and medicine for ethnic minority people and poor children; visit and offer gifts to the families of heroic Vietnamese mothers…These activities aim to further uphold the volunteer role of Youth Union members belonging to the local armed forces, contributing to building new-style rural areas.
