Early October 7, Binh Duong Urban Development Planning Institute held a workshop on the 2013 provincial urban development planning. Attending the workshop were provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi together with leaders of sectors, localities and universities in the province. 

At the workshop, Dr.Roger Caves, an expert of urban planning at San Diego State University of the US shared his experience on urban development planning, including focusing on the importance of technology innovation, the environmental effects on urban development planning …The workshop also mentioned some issues of the vision in the urban development process, the mobilization of all sources in the process of urban development planning.

Emphasizing that urban development planning is always the most concerned issue in the  society. Mr.Nhi spoke highly the workshop and saying that the issues discussed and shared from Dr.Roger Caves was very significant. He also suggested Binh Duong Urban Development Planning Institute to acquire and research domestic and foreign experts’ ideas on urban development planning. And in combination with the local features, they would contribute to promoting Binh Duong’s urban development in the future, said him.
