Early April 17, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Economic Office in Tan Uyen District coordinated with Dong Nam Bo Region Fruit Institution and Hieu Liem Commune People’s Committee to organize reception ceremony of VietGap Standard Certificate to Phuong Uyen Farmstead in Hieu Liem Commune of Tan Uyen District. Representative of Tan Uyen District Economic Office hands over VietGap Certificate to Mr. Le Van Xe, the owner of Phuong Uyen Farmstead Phuong Uyen Farmstead is the second brandname in Binh Duong Province to be accreditted with VietGap which is the practice of safe production. Established in 2005, Phuong Uyen Farmstead specialized in green-skin pamelo cultivation. To obtain the certificate for its 7ha of farm, Phuong Uyen Farmstead has to meet up to 68 criteria.
