Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Trade Union do many activities to take care of policy people

On May 9, Trade Union of Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) held a ceremony to launch the 2023 Workers' Month and Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).

With this year's theme of Workers' Month "Connecting workers, building organizations" and OSH Action Month "Strengthening the construction of safe working processes and measures and improving working conditions, reducing stress at workplace”, VSIP Trade Union at all levels organized five key activities to take care of and protect the legitimate interests of union members and workers. Specifically, "Dialogue in May" on theme of "Workers for businesses, businesses for workers"; “Thank you workers”; "Each grassroots union, one membership benefit"...

At the launching ceremony, VSIP Trade Union presented 60 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND in cash and 1 gift, to 60 union members and workers living in difficult circumstances, having occupational accidents, occupational diseases, fatal diseases. VSIP Trade Union rewarded 38 enterprises with model grassroots trade unions, ensuring jobs, income, and taking good care of union members and employees; commended 5 enterprises and 5 grassroots trade unions for their good cooperation in performing OSH activities in 2022.

On this occasion, VSIP Trade Union signed a memorandum of understanding to well perform OSH tasks with 8 enterprises; signed a contract with units and enterprises to deploy the union welfare program to sell essential goods, provide services with preferential prices and discounts for union members and workers in 2023.
