Vietnam attaches great importance to strengthening relations with France, a priority partner in Europe and the world, says Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.Vietnam wants to promote cooperation with France in all areas, especially energy, aviation, aerospace, infrastructure and housing, Mr Dung told his French counterpart Francois Fillon in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, on March 26.Mr Dung is joining Government and State leaders from more than 50 countries at the second Nuclear Security Summit in the RoK.The two PMs noted that the Vietnam-France relations are developing well toward the strategic partnership in the near future.They said the organisation of cultural exchanges between the two nations in recent times has helped promote mutual understanding, increase economic cooperation, and strengthen the Vietnamese community in France.They agreed that both sides will work closely to successfully organise events in the Vietnam-France Year 2013, and increase cooperation in education-training, and science-technology.They agreed to coordinate closely at international forums such as the United Nations, the French-speaking community (Francophonie), and the United Nations Educational, Social and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). Later Mr Dung met with the Foreign Ministers of Germany and the Netherlands.He is scheduled to deliver a speech at the plenary session of the second Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul on March 27.VOV
