Vietnamese commodities to dominate the market in Christmas 2015

By observation of reporters at stores and supermarkets in Thu Dau Mot City, Thuan An Town among others, commodities servicing Christmas are mainly produced domestically with diversified, rich, and reasonably priced items.

Nguyen Thanh Giang, a store owner at Thu Dau Mot Market in Thu Dau Mot City, informed that buyers have recently paid attention to domestically produced commodities for Christmas. On knowing this, the stores, for this year, concentrates on selling commodities produced by domestic enterprises. By our investigation, this year’s commodities produced for Christmas are diversified and rich in terms of styles, colors, and texture decorations.

“Buyers pay first attention to origin of commodities. For this year, we mainly put on sales the commodities from Ho Chi Minh City. Majority of the commodities have been onsite produced and processed,” said Ms. Luong Thi Thuong, a store owner in Thuan An Town.

According to Ms. Kim Anh in Phu Cuong Ward of Thu Dau Mot City, the commodity stores in Christmas are diversified with high quality domestically produced commodities at reasonable prices to attract customers.

What inspires the buyers is the stable price of commodities despite the closeness of Christmas. The ornaments, tinsel, star-shaped silhouettes, gift boxes, etc. are unchanged in price and eye 10-20% discounts.

Manufacturing experts asserted that Vietnamese commodities are dominating the market in Christmas signaling bright signs of domestic enterprises. However, to sustain this position, enterprises must keep on improving commodity quality and models.
