Viettel’s Binh Duong branch just celebrated its 10 years of joining in telecom market (2000-2010). After its 10-year development, Viettel has become a key economic and business corporation of Vietnam telecom industry.

With the initial capital of only VND23bil, Viettel has increased its asset up to about 22 times, becoming the second biggest taxpayer in Vietnam. 

After opening 3G network across 63 provinces and cities in March 2010, Viettel has been under test for developing 4G network. Viettel has so far provided services for nearly 50mil subscribers across country, ranking the 19th position among 800 mobile networks all over the world.

Besides, the trademark of Viettel has welcomed its 28 millionth client in 2008 and affirmed its vanguard position with over 40% of market share. Especially, Viettel has been glorified at international prizes with a series of awards of “service provider of the year at emerging markets” selected by Frost&Sullivan, “best telecom service provider at developing nations”.

In the coming years, Viettel will target to be one of the country’s key telecom and IT corporations, taking Viettel trademark into Top 30 of world biggest telecom service providers as well as to be one of 10 biggest telecom investors abroad.
