VNA General Director visits Binh Duong

Tran Van Nam, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received the delegation.

At the working session, Mr.Nam informed the delegation about Binh Duong’s socio-economic development over the past time. Binh Duong’s annual economic growth always reached over 13%, a two fold increase compared to the country’s annual average growth. As of September 2014, Binh Duong absorbed additional 212 FDI projects capitalized at US$1.4bln, surpassing 40% of the yearly plan. Binh Duong now aims at hi-tech industries that make products with strong competitiveness both in domestic and foreign markets, especially electronic and mechanical ones.

Mr.Nam also spoke highly of the role of press agencies, especially the VNA’s branch in Binh Duong in promoting the local socio-economic development over the past time. Meanwhile, Mr.Loi expressed his impression on Binh Duong’s economic growth achievements, particularly in industrial & urban development and investment attraction.
