VSIP signed research deal to launch complex of urban, industry and services in middle region of Vietnam

At the presence of Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang, Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee on researching feasibility of building a 1,020-ha complex of urban, industry and services in Quang Ngai Province. The project will cover 500 hectares of industrial land in Dung Quoc Economic Zone and another 520 hectares for urban development.

The signing ceremony in Istana, Singapore is part of the first state visit of Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang to Singapore.
