*Exhibition on "photos and objects of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet in the period of 2006-2011" kicked off
Early December 20, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism inaugurated a work on upgrading provincial Museum’s material facilities and opened an exhibition on "photos and objects of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet in the period of 2006-2011".

The event was attended by former Politburo member, former State President Nguyen Minh Triet; Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Hoang Thao, Pernament Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; leaders, former leaders of Song Be - Binh Duong province over periods.
Provincial museum is currently storing and preserving over 22,000 objects of all kinds, including the valuable and rare ones that have been recognized for national protection. In order to upgrade material facilities, create favorable working conditions for the museum’s staff to work while improving the quality and innovating display contents at people’s demand for visiting and learning. In 2020, provincial People's Committee approved the construction drawing design, the estimated cost of upgrading provincial Museum's material facilities, assigned provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as an investor, with total initial investment of VND 80 billion. After nearly 2 years of implementation, the project has been completed and put into operation to better serve the task of propagandizing and promoting the image of Binh Duong land and people to friends at home and abroad.
On this occasion, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism kicked off an exhibition on "photos and objects of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet in the period of 2006-2011".
The exhibition features 108 photos, 82 objects, 16 paintings while arranging two 32-inch touch screens to show former President Nguyen Minh Triet’s photo collections. These are images, objects, souvenirs related to the working process of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet in the period of 2006-2011, which have great significance in terms of the country's foreign affairs, contributing to affirming Vietnam's position in the region and in the world.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Minh said that in order to further meet the people's demand for research, study and cultural enjoyment, the province's culture, sports and tourism sector needs to continue improving provincial Museum’s material facilities, promote the collection of objects, scientific research to enrich provincial Museum’s documents and objects. He suggested the province’s sector of culture, sports and tourism to regularly renew the display contents; improve the quality of propagandizing and promoting cultural heritage values; focus on digital transformation and digitization of museum materials and objects towards building a smart museum, contributing to the harmonious development of culture and economy while effectively managing and exploiting material facilities, materials, objects, especially well upholding and achieving the highest efficiency of the thematic exhibition on "photos and objects of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet in the period of 2006-2011".
Provincial People's Committee Chairman also noted that the local sector of culture, sports and tourism needs to more strongly launch campaign on researching and collecting objects to supplement and build up a source of abundant materials in order to introduce and educate young generations about revolutionary traditions, national pride, thereby contributing to building up a more and more prosperous, civilized and modern Binh Duong.
