By their effective initiatives, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan and Mr. Nguyen Sy Hai have helped their corporates to earn hundreds of million a year. They are worthy of the elite workers of creativity under the emulation movement of excellent and creative working.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan keeps on keen devotion to creativity

In 2015, Binh Duong Provincial Emulation and Awards Committee proposed to Prime Minister to award merit certificates to 8 model working employees. Ms. Ngyen Thi Xuan, born in 1990, the technician of Fujikura Fiber Optics Co. Ltd. (FOV) was the only female in the list. She has not only fulfilled her assignments but also made great efforts in creating initiatives to benefit the her corporate.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan has been working for Fujikura Fiber Optics Co. Ltd. (FOV) since 2010. Xuan knows how to arrange her work with close inspection to yield high quality products meeting the corporate planning and exceeding production and business earnings year on year. Particularly, she discovered new working methods to bring up economic benefits. Her initiative of improving Holder Cover - the material management method satisfies the customers and ensure of highest quality materials supplied by FOV. By her improvement, the corporate production line can cut back 1 worker saving up about VND 54 million a year. Her initiatives also help visual checking and packaging mitigate error omission.

Xuan also improved the cutting of materials in accordance with margin of clamp, thickness of special stopring and holder edge. Her initiative resolved the issues of labor safety for workers in the process of measuring and reduced sample damage. Jig cutting will produce finer samples and time. This initiative of her saves up to VND 112 million a year while opening up application of jig cutting for other materials.

In 5 years working for the corporate, Xuan has become a pioneer in promotion of initiatives and creativity to improve machines, equipment, and capacity. For consecutive years, she has been awarded with merit certificates and awards for her creativity.

Xuan said: “President Ho Chi Minh taught us the glory of labor; thus, in whatever work you do, you should make the greatest efforts. And, beyond one’s knowledge, we should learn more from books and co-workers. We should also train up daily without being arrogant of the gained achievements.”

Mr. Nguyen Sy Hai devotes to his work

Mr. Nguyen Sy Hai, born in 1983, an engineer of electricity engineering of Asia Packaging Industries Vietnam (in Ben Cat Town) is a model in emulation movement from 2010 to 2015. By non-stop efforts, he has been proposed to Prime Minister for merit certificate awarding.

As a graduate of Vietnam-Singapore Vocational Junior College, Hai was qualified with electricity engineering in 2006. He was then employed to Asia Packaging Industries Vietnam in Ben Cat Town. He has applied his knowledge to production in technical improvement initiatives to elevate capacity and effectiveness of his work.

His initiative of establishing monitoring control and data collection of entire factory production lines has changed the management and meeting routine of the company. Thus, the managing personnel can stay in meeting room to direct exactly what to be fixed in the production lines. Concurrently, his initiative enables synchronous combination of operators in all processes to ensure stable operations. This saved up nearly USD 40,000 in improving the factory system and hiring fees. Particularly, the initiated system has become the appearance of the company introducing to customers and visitors. Ever since 2012, the system has been learned and applied by many other companies and groups.

His other initiative of variable frequency feedback control to save up energy, improve production and shelf life has yielded over VND 120 million a year and saved up over USD 10,000 a year in production.

In years of devoted working, he was honored by Ben Cat Industrial Park Labor Union in 2011, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee in 2012, and General Labor Union of Vietnam in 2012.
