Update: 22-08-2020 | 10:27:23

Twenty-five clubs “connecting young workers” under provincial Support Center for Young Workers in collaboration with the center have just organized a series of support activities for workers in Covid-19 prevention and control with the theme of “Installation of contact tracing app Bluezone for gifts”.

Accordingly, the first “Installation of contact tracing app Bluezone for gifts” program was implemented by members of the club “connecting young workers” No.21 in the Hoa Loi social housing area in TDM city. Members of the club were very enthusiastic in guiding workers and locals how to install and use the Bluezone, a Bluetooth-based contact tracing app, to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program absorbed a large number of workers in the social housing area. Le Thi Ngoc, a worker living in the social housing area said that when being guided how to install and use the contract-tracing Bluezone app to identify and alert people who have interacted with Covid-19 patients, she was very impressive with the pandemic prevention technology. In addition, she and others were also given face masks and hand sanitizer bottles for better Covid-19 prevention and control.

On this occasion, the club “connecting young workers” No.21 offered 2,500 face masks, 120 hand sanitizer bottles, 120 drinking water bottles to workers and locals. There were also more than 400 workers installing the Bluezone app, joining hands with the community in Covid-19 prevention and control.

This is one of practical activities done by the center in the current fight against Covid-19 pandemic. Nguyen Anh Vy, member of the club “connecting young workers” No.21 said that the program was good for the community, so it absorbed the participation of numerous members with a desire of raising public awareness of Covid-19 pandemic in order to join hands in the pandemic prevention.

In the coming time, provincial Support Center for Young Workers will continue instructing clubs “connecting young workers” to make dissemination of information about Covid-19 prevention, control and support young workers with difficult circumstances. The program aims to express young workers’ voluntary spirit for the sake of the community, raise the role and responsibility of each citizen in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
