Young Workers' Relief Day held

On the morning of May 29, Standing Committee of Provincial Youth Union held a Youth Relay Day for young workers and laborers in the expanded South Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Hoi Nghia Ward (Tan Uyen Town).

At the conference, Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union handed out letters of thanks to organizations and enterprises who support activities of taking care of material and spiritual lives of youth workers and children of disadvantaged youth workers; paid tribute to enterprises accompanying the Provincial Youth Fund for disadvantaged youth; paid tribute to lodging house’s owners in Tan Uyen Town who contributed to and cared for the lives of youth workers affected by the Covid-19; presented seven financial support to disadvantaged young persons, and commended five examples of "Good young workers".

* On the same day, the Provincial Youth Union organized the launch of the Provincial Voluntary Youth Campaign in summer 2022. At the ceremony, the following teams were introduced: Exam Season Support; “Green Summer”; “Red Phoenix Flower"; "Pink Holiday"; "Green March"; "Union of three shirt-colors"; "Free English Teaching"; Young Physicians for Public Health Support, Health Care for Covid-19 patients; "Clubs, Teams, Groups"; "SOS Binh Duong"; supporting border provinces, sea islands; guidance on digital transformation of communities.

On May 29, Youth Union at all levels in the province simultaneously launched the "Green Sunday" in response to the 5th-6th World Environment Day and the "Vietnam Island Week"; cleaned up, removed misplaced billboards, planted trees and flowers on roads, memorials, historical relics; propagated and raised public awareness of the harmful effects of plastic waste; organized activities to propagate the law on Covid-19 and dengue disease prevention and control; held coloring contest themed "I love the green environment" for youth members. The activities contributed to raising awareness and responsibility of the people, and promoted the stimulating and creating role of young people in protecting the environment; facilitate a movement to build new rural areas, building urban civilization.
