A relief delegation from Binh Duong province yesterday continued to visit and present 1,000 cash gifts of VND500mln to flood-hit people in Nha Trang city’s four communes of Vinh Thai, Vinh Ngoc, Vinh Phuong, Vinh Thanh.

 

Dao Thanh Tung, deputy head of the Nha Trang City’s Steering Board for Flood Prevention said that the total damage caused by the last rain and flood in the city was estimated at nearly VND60mln. Currently, the Nha Trang City’s Steering Board for Flood Prevention is instructing the local police, armed forces and relevant agencies to urgently help the local people overcome the consequences of the last rain and flood to soon restore production and stabilize their lives.
