11 professions that adversely affect male reproduction

The content is regulated by Circular No. 10/2020/TT-BLDTBXH of Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to guide some contents of Labor Law 2019. Accordingly, the list of 11 professions that adversely affect male reproduction includes:

- Professions in direct contact with cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), nickel (Ni), mercury (Hg) among others.

- Professions in contact with industrial chemicals such as benzene (C6H6), toluene (C7H8), xylene (C6H10), pesticides, herbicides, organic solutions, painting materials.

- Professions in direct contacts with high frequency sonic waves such as radar among others.

- Professions of operating nuclear reaction and researches of nuclear power plants.

- Professions of using radioactive substances.

- Professions of processing radioactive substances.

- Professions of storing radioactive substances and storing radioactive wastes or used radioactive sources.

- Professions of using radiation equipment and operating of such equipment.

- Professions of packaging and transporting radioactive substances, sourcing nuclear materials.

- Professions of surveying, exploiting, and processing radioactive ores.

- Professions of implementing services for supporting nuclear power with possibility of direct exposure to great sources of ionized radiation.

Circular 10/2020/TT-BLDTBXH is valid from and on January 1, 2021.
