16 local businesses join in furniture, accessories fair

Vietnam International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair 2011 (VIFA 2011) co-organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s Trade Promotion Bureau, the HCMC Trade and Industry Department and the Ho Chi Minh City Handicraft and Wood Industry Association has taken place at Tan Binh Exhibition & Convention Center from Oct. 5-8.

Attending the fair are about 200 local and foreign businesses with 500 booths. This is an annual event under the national key trade promotion program.

Binh Duong provincial Center for Trade Promotion, said the province has 16 local businesses joining in the fair. They include Dai Hong Phat, Cuong Phat, La Thanh and among others with 44 booths. The local administration supports VND6mil for the participating units.
