Sort waste at source in exchange for green trees

Responding to the movement "Each woman plants a tree - Each branch contributes a green area", Women's Union of Phu Cuong ward (Thu Dau Mot City) has carried out an activity to classify waste at source to exchange for trees.

Initially, this model was piloted at the Women's Union of Quarter 1. At the program, the WU donated 50 trees to women who brought their trash to sort and put it in each trash can according to instructions. The association will sell the recyclable part of the waste after classification to raise funds for the WU to carry out next activities in the near future.

Through this activity, the WU continues to propagate among its members about classifying waste at source, reducing waste sources into the environment to protect a green, clean, and beautiful environment.
