95.84% of households in Di An recognized as cultural ones

Di An town’s Steering Board of the “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters” campaign has just held a conference to partially review the campaign in 2014.

Last year, the campaign of “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters” in the town continued reaching in-depth development. The town continued effectively maintaining self-management groups on environmental hygiene and traffic safety. There were also 10 cultural institutions in operation, contributing to improving the lives of the local people.

In addition, the town mobilized locals to raise more than VND785mln for the local Fund for the poor; built and upgraded 6 “great unity” houses for those in need of housing; offered help of over VND50.6bln to more than 7,300 needy people. According to the result of the year-end assessment, there were 95.84% of households recognized as “cultural ones”, 95.99% of lodging facilities as “cultural ones”, 68.29% of quarters as “cultural ones” and 92% of units as “cultural ones”.

At the conference, the Steering Board also honored 70 families and 16 quarters that have been presented the cultural title for three consecutive years. Many other collectives and individuals were also commended for their contributions to the campaign of “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”.
