A young business women acts wholeheartedly for workers

Pham Thi Hong Nhung, Vice Chairwoman of Young Entrepreneurs Association of Tan Uyen Town, Deputy Director of Vinh Thanh Packaging Company, in addition to leading the company to become a volunteer enterprise in the carton packaging industry, is always interested in the spiritual material life of workers.

Young but brave

With a dream of becoming a good lawyer helping everyone, especially those in difficult circumstances, but in 2009 after graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, her family's company lacked managers; hence Ms. Pham had to change her direction to family business. It was not easy for her, who was a freshly graduate law student, to take over the business. To have more knowledge and experience in management and business, she made effort to study many classes and skills at the same time, like: business administration, CEO training (CEO) and other professional training classes, learn experience from previous people.

Ms. Pham is always interested in the material spiritual life of workers

Currently, after more than 10 years of managing her family's business, she has gradually demonstrated her leadership capacity, run well and developed Vinh Thanh Packaging Company. In 2019, she co-founded and served as Deputy General Director of Happy Rich Entrepreneur Training Company with a mission of improving the learning of entrepreneurs and proving startup training for young people, assisting the national innovation startup program. Happy Rich Company was honored to receive the title of top 10 excellent brands voted by Business and Market Magazine.

Ms. Pham said: "Perhaps by actively participating in youth activities right from high school and throughout the time as being a business manager has strengthened my skills to be a leader, to be sympathetic with workers, to take care of their material and spiritual life".

To care for workers

Vinh Thanh Packaging Company's Young worker union branch was established in 2018 with 20 members; and now its membership is growing. Through activities of this union branch, Ms. Pham has actively taken care of material and spiritual life of young members and workers. In addition to complying with labor laws, she also proposed policies that are more beneficial to workers. When workers encounter difficulties or sickness, she called for contributions from all employees in the company and the union. On anniversaries or big occasion of the company, the youth union branch collaborated with trade unions to hold skills and sports competitions, arrange tours, give gifts to workers' children having excellent learning results at year-end... On the other hand, the union timely commends and rewards individuals with outstanding results monthly, at year-end and celebrates the establishment of the company. Every Sunday, the association organizes training sessions to improve skills as well as soft skills, games for members and workers. 

In youth work, she has gained many good results and titles such as "Excellent Young Entrepreneur of Binh Duong Province" in 2020, "Advanced Youth to follow Uncle Ho's words" at provincial level in 2020. In particular, she attended the 6th National Congress of Advanced Youth 2020 and was honored at the congress. Besides, she also received many other rewards such as: certificate of merit from Provincial People's Committee for good taking care of workers' lives; certificate of merit from Provincial Labor Federation for outstanding accomplishments in the emulation movement of good labor and organization of trade union activities; certificate of merit from Director of General Department of Taxation for good implementation of tax and legal policies. Her company is also a model enterprise selected annually by People's Committee of Tan Uyen Town on Vietnam Entrepreneur's Day.
