Activities of North Tan Uyen Farmers’ Association in 2017 under review

North Tan Uyen district’s Farmers’ Association has just organized a conference to review its activities in 2017 and implement orientations, tasks for 2018.

In 2017, the association held 47 training courses on cultivation and animal husbandry, how to use fertilizer and agricultural medicine; teamed up with relevant agencies to organize 8 vocational training classes. The association and its branches effectively carried out a movement of “good farmer in production and business”. As of late 2017, the whole district had a total of 2,744 members winning the “good farmer title at all levels. The association also considered and provided VND10billion in loan for 383 households; actively responded to emulation movements and campaigns, namely “Building new rural areas”, “The whole people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle”, “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”…

In 2018, the association will continue disseminating the Party and State’s policies and laws, especially ones on agriculture and rural development among members; improve its operational quality; maintain and promote the movement of “good farmer in production and business”; organize vocational training classes; guide farmers how to set up linkage groups and cooperatives so that they can uphold the effectiveness of collective economy; encourage members to increase production and help each other in economic development and poverty reduction…
