Update: 24-03-2010 | 00:00:00

By the afternoon of March 23rd, Binh Duong Department of Natural Resources and Environment Director Pham Danh announced a piece of information confirming Vietnam Food JSC (aka. Anco Company) had concealed 72 tons of expired milk at waste stock of The Gioi Xanh (Green World) Company.

The said amount of expired milk was originated from Sacombank stock in Song Than Industrial Park, being transited to waste water processing station in South Tan Uyen Industrial Park for soluble discharge. However, The Gioi Xanh Company decided to halt its transportation to pressure Anco Company to pay transportation debts.

Mr. Pham Danh claimed that all 3 companies have severely violate the regulations and demand to dump 105 tons of expired milk from Anco Company as decided by Department of Natural Resources and Environment from October 19 to October 28, 2009. Besides, both Anco and the waste water processing station in South Tan Uyen Industrial Park have wrongly reported to have completed the processing. In fact, only 40 tons of expired milk have been dumped so far. The Department has reported with suggestion to Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee to strongly punish the breach of law.
