Applying digital technology into Covid-19 prevention and control in schools

Implementing the application of digital technology into Covid-19 prevention and control under provincial People's Committee’s Directive No. 11/CT-UBND dated June 25, provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) has directed educational facilities, schools  to require managerial officials, teachers, and students who use smart phones to install the contact tracing application Bluezone and make electronic medical declarations while asking for their relatives to do the same.

Leader of provincial DoET has also required all educational facilities and schools in the province to register for setting up "checkpoints" to control visitors by scanning QR codes. All individuals and organizations visiting their units must install and use the contact tracing application Bluezone and make electronic medical declarations. Provincial DoET also required that 100% of schools ‘managerial officials, staff, teachers who use smart phones must complete the installation and use of the contact tracing application Bluezone and electronic medical declaration as July 4. Teachers and mass organizations in schools will guide students with smart phones how to install the contact tracing application Bluezone and make electronic medical declarations.
