Ben Cat’s Party Committee focuses on taking care of social welfare

Early July 10, the Executive Board of the 12^th Ben Cat town’s Party Committee held its open 25th session, in attendance of Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council. This is the first time that the session of the Executive Board of the town’s Party Committee was held in a combination of face-to-face and online formats.

In the first 6 months of 2023, Ben Cat town’s Party Committee implemented the main targets and tasks of the 2023 resolution with the set progress ensured. Noticeably, the town’s total production value was estimated at over VND 139.09 trillion, up 21.3% over the same period in 2022. The town's Party Committee admitted additional 126 Party members, or 82.35% of the target assigned by provincial Party Committee in 2023. Among them, there were 16 Party members being students (or 114% of the target), 31 being workers (or 62% of the target), 5 being business owners (or 167% of the target). The Party Committee of the town also developed additional 6 Party organizations outside the State sector (or 60% of the target).

From now to year-end, Ben Cat town will strive to complete criteria to establish two wards of An Dien, An Tay and Ben Cat city under the province. Addressing the conference, Mr.Loc suggested that in the coming time, the town’s Party Committee should well implement goals on socio-economic development; take people as the center, aiming at improving people's living standards...He also suggested the town to focus on taking care of social welfare in the current difficult economic situation...

On this occasion, the town’s Party Committee awarded the mementos "For the cause of the Party Committee office" to 3 individuals who have made many contributions to the cause of the Party Committee office.
