Early January 15, Ben Cat town held a conference to approve the local socio-economic development targets in 2015.
The town’s total production value last year was estimated at VND58,400bln, up 15.5% compared to 2013. The town reached an economic growth of 19.5% with an economic structure of 85.73% in industry, 13.5% in services and 0.77% in agriculture. The average income per capita herein reached VND53mln/year.
Meanwhile, the town’s industrial production value achieved nearly VND50.1trillion, up 13.9% compared to the same period. The town is now home to 9 industrial compounds and parks with nearly 3,200 hectares in total, 45 urban and residential estates with 2,999 hectares in total…The town’s total State budget collection was estimated at VND842.961bln while total State budget spending was VND618.63bln. The town also paid attention to socio-cultural fields and well maintained national defence-security.
The conference approved a decision on the local State budget collection-spending estimates and targets in terms of construction investment in 2015. Particularly, the town will strive to obtain more than VND68.64trillion in total production value. The local economic structure will be 83.91% in industry, 15.43% in services and 0.66% in agriculture with an average growth of 19.8%.
