Binh Duong and Lao Cai promote cooperation in many fields

On July 24, a delegation of Binh Duong province led by Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with leaders of Lao Cai province.

At the meeting, Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People's Committee of Lao Cai province, suggested that the two provinces of Binh Duong and Lao Cai have a comprehensive cooperation program to deepen the good traditional relationship between the two localities to jointly support and create favorable conditions for units and businesses of the two localities to promote investment in high-quality and high-tech agricultural production; support and share experiences in the implementation of planning for construction of industrial parks, especially high-tech industrial parks; encourage and create maximum favorable conditions for enterprises of the two localities to participate in construction investment, production and business in the area, especially economic groups and large corporations investing in import and export, transportation and logistics services...

Speaking at the meeting, Vo Van Minh shared the good tradition between the two localities and expressed his gratitude to many Lao Cai people in the past for being in Binh Duong, contributing their efforts and blood to fierce battlefields of Thu Dau Mot - Binh Duong province. In particular, in 2021, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, hundreds of officials, nurses and doctors of Lao Cai province volunteered to support and contribute to Binh Duong's effective fight against the disease.

Mr. Minh said Binh Duong province and Lao Cai province will strengthen development cooperation in their advantage areas and set out specific cooperation contents. Mr. Minh also suggested that the two localities should propose solutions for the next period and jointly implement.

On this occasion, the delegation and businesses of Binh Duong province donated 800 million VND, 10 gratitude houses to policy families and more than 100 gifts worth more than 300 million VND to the people of Lao Cai province.
